Simon Jonna

Simon Jonna is Founder and Managing Partner of Jonna Group based in Birmingham, MI. Simon’s extensive experience entails successful ventures in every aspect of commercial real estate to include acquisition, disposition, management, finance and development that sets him apart as a Top Investment-Sales Broker Globally. His career is a proven track record that represents a multi-billion dollar showcase of premiere assets in 50 states.

Simon is known for building and managing a top team with “Assembly-Line” efficiency that handles dispositions, sale-leasebacks, portfolio sales, and pre-sales under construction for products in net lease, shopping centers, multi-family, urban core and mixed-use. Prior to his entry into the investment real estate segment, Simon’s experience includes lineage that started with an active role for a national development company partaking in site selection for national, land assemblages, feasibility studies, re-locations, backfills, special-use conversions, landlord and tenant representation. Simon held a stockbroker profession at UBS in addition to his up-tempo commodity brokering within the futures markets with personal mentorship from industry moguls in his early years. Simon’s National Real Estate Closings have been showcased on ticker headlines as several of his deals surpassed expectations relative to market CAP rates and pricing. His real estate deals are documented case studies on repeat occasions due to their unorthodox complexities with large net-leased portfolios or multifamily projects. At any given time, Simon has had dealings within the high barriers of entry to the New York Boroughs, Cape Cod, Key West, Silicon Valley, Downtown Chicago, Long Island, Miami Beach and other select regions when dealing with a host of America’s upper echelon real estate personalities. Born and raised in San Diego, in 2005 he relocated to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Simon is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan with a major in Communications and Finance. Simon’s father, Harry Jonna, is his foremost mentor who instilled how to foster credible relationships and build upon them successfully. Simon is an avid reader and writer with a collection of paperbacks to include memoirs, history, business, political science, and the arts. When not working, Simon enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley along with his 3 children. He also enjoys boating, boxing and playing basketball. He believes in giving back and supports several charitable community organizations. He is also an active Industry Speaker at Annual Events. Simon is a published author with a book entitled “Diary of a Dealmaker” focusing on continued growth and evolution of his business.

Raymond started his career in 2008 after attaining his BA from the University of Michigan and later his MBA with specialty in real estate and finance, from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.As a member of the National Net Lease Group, Raymond earned distinguished National Pace Setting Awards in his first year as an investment sales agent.

Over a decade later, Raymond boasts an extensive track record managing large scale national credit tenant portfolio transactions, 1031 exchanges, and sale-leasebacks for preferred developers, private investors, and institutions in over... 40 states across the country. As a Senior Vice President and principal partner at the Jonna Group of Colliers, Raymond and his top ranked team of highly seasoned professionals have set themselves apart amongst the industry elite. Born and raised in San Diego, Raymond was a top ranked folk style and freestyle wrestler in the state of California. His hobbies include traveling, golf, boxing, basketball, and ping pong to name a few.
